The people behind the lean-training courses


Our Team consist of very experienced Lean practitioners with different backgrounds. We all share enthusiastic about Lean Management principles and methods. Hence, we all share deep desire to help people improve their lives using Lean tools and methods.


Gudmundur Thorsteinsson



Gudmundur is the owner of the consulting company Lean Radgjof in Iceland. Lean radgjof specializes in helping small and medium-size companies to implement Lean and culture of continuous improvements.

Training is big part of all lean implementations and Gudmundur has years of experience delivering wide range of Lean trainings.


Margret Ragnarsdottir


Margret is the co-owner of the consulting company Gemba in Iceland that specializes in Lean methods.

Margret has hands-on experience implementing Lean principles in industries including renewable energy power plants, software, municipality, finance, and technology.

Margret teaches Lean program in the industrial engineering department at the university of Iceland.

Jean Cunningham

Jean Cunningham is the co-author of Real Numbers (Lean Accounting) and Easier, Simpler, Faster (Lean IT), which won the 2004 and 2008 Shingo Prize for Research respectively. In 2018 she wrote a companion book to Real Numbers, The Value Add Accountant.

Jean is prior chairman of the Lean Enterprise Institute which provides lean education, summits, and co-learning partnerships. She speaks at lean conferences and taught Lean Accounting for the Ohio State University Master of Business Operational Excellence program. 

Jean was principle at Jean Cunningham Consulting for 13 years. For 15 years prior, she was the CFO at Lantech Inc and Marshfield Door Systems. Jean was the voluntary CFO for the Association of Manufacturing Excellence from 2006-2011. She has a BS in Accounting from Indiana University and an MBA from Northeastern University’s Executive Program.
